A studio journal from September 18, 2026. The streets around Bukchon were full of visitors from overseas. Seeing people dressed in beautiful hanbok and taking pictures against the hanok houses made the neighborhood feel especially lively and exciting.
We welcomed some lovely international visitors to Beautiful Cat Caricature. There was plenty of conversation and laughter while we worked on their drawings, and the time passed in a warm, cheerful atmosphere.
Every guest has a different expression, impression and personality. Looking closely at those details is what draws us into each portrait. We put care into every line, hoping that the hanok rooftops and the words “Seoul 2026” in the drawings will help these moments in Seoul stay with our guests for a long time.
When our visitors held up the finished caricatures, smiled brightly and gave us a thumbs-up, it was such a rewarding moment. They were delighted to take home a personal, one-of-a-kind souvenir of their Seoul trip, and their happiness made our day too.
